PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP

Harriet was a delight to work with. She did hair and makeup for both myself and my mum and really made the whole process stress free (which is what you want for your wedding!) Our ideas and requests were all taken into account and she spent our trial making sure she understood our vision and took on board any tweaks or changes. On the day, Harriet exceeded expectations again and I couldn’t have been happier with her service. She even went above and beyond, helping with my dress.

Harriet was the ULTIMATE professional from start to finish. I’m chaos personified & put the wrong postcode in for my 1st appt with HB & ended up really late. She was so forgiving & made sure I got my trial & didn’t make me feel rushed so I received the full experience. I was so grateful. On my wedding AM she arrived promptly & wrangled all my troops which I have to say is like herding cats. 2 bridesmaids turned up 21/2 hrs late & a flower girl swallowed a veil weight!  She kept us on time & calm.

Harriet couldn’t have been more helpful in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. My makeup and hair were beautiful and everyone commented on them. Harriet also coloured my hair before my wedding date giving me amazing advice on how to keep my hair in the best condition. On the wedding day she was nothing short of amazing helping me to stay calm when nerves were kicking in and pampering the whole bridal party.

Harriet was a professional from the very first communication, replying to all messages promptly. We were so impressed with Harriet that we booked her for the hen do, and one of the chief bridesmaids has booked her for a wedding next week. Harriet was happy to make tweaks to both hair and make up to ensure the bridal party were 100% happy on the day. We will definitely be using Harriet for future events.

I cannot put into words how much of a brilliant job Harriet did of my wedding hair & make up for myself & my bridal party. She made the whole experience fun & exciting and really brought the energy for the wedding morning. She made everyone feel relaxed & did an amazing job of everyone’s hair and make up. Her home studio salon was the most perfect, intimate setting for the morning of my wedding. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for wedding hair & make up.

As an older bride in her fifties and her 84 year old mother, we felt that it was an impossible job for an MUA to transform us to feel special and as attractive as all the young, slim beautiful brides you see on every page and social media post. Harriet managed the impossible and made both of us feel like strong, fearless, attractive, glamorous ladies on my wedding day and I will forever thank her for her patience, creativity, and ability to really understand our wants and needs and her skills.

Exceptional service from start to finish. Home visit pre wedding to go through ideas, Harriet was patient and I did not feel rushed at all. On the wedding day, Harriet arrived on time and was very professional, she put me at ease and the make up was stunning. I am not a make up girl so having this done was a big thing for me.

Harriet was wonderful right from the first consultation she is warm/approachablekept us informed throughout our contacts, great communication of time plans for the day. She advised on preparation and tips for skin care prior to the day. Hair and makeup for both myself and my daughter was fabulous and flawless , she listened to what we wanted and also made suggestions that we hadn’t thought of. Harriett is a true professional and excellent and well skilled at her craft, would highly recommend.

Harriet was amazing from start to finish. I was so happy with my hair and makeup. My bridesmaids and mum also looked beautiful. She really took the time at my trial to understand what I wanted and felt like she really listened to me. My hair and makeup also stayed all day! I couldn’t believe it.

Harriet was creative and understood my requests well. She produced beautiful natural makeup as I requested and my hair was perfect in a Hollywood glam style.

I will only trust Harriet with my hair as I have had some bad experiences in the past. She listens to to what you want, and tries to get as close as she possibly can to it, due to your situation. Very professional, friendly and personable. Loved my hair, finally getting to where I want it after the experiences elsewhere I have had. Thoroughly enjoyed going to the salon and thank you so much for my hair. I love it!

Great experience, lovely head massage while having my shampoo and fantastic cut from Harriet. I know I can manage styling my hair and it looks great between cuts.
